Opened in 1954 it was originally named Higham Railway Station. Due to its proximity to the original Cannington railway station, the latter was moved to a new site near Cecil Avenue during the upgrade of the rail line from diesel to electric as there needed to be further distances between stations. Although Thornlie spur line trains run through the station before leaving the Armadale line, they do not stop. Beckenham is the only station that Thornlie trains go through without stopping. Beckenham station underwent a $6.4 million revamp as part of the Public Transport Authority's project to upgrade all stations that do not meet current disability standards. Construction work began in 2013 and was completed in March 2014. ==Platforms== 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Beckenham railway station」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
